Lok Sabha elections in Bihar would be conducted in seven phases, as the Election Commission of India announced on Saturday.

The BJP, a prominent member of the NDA, will contest 17 out of the total 40 Lok Sabha seats in Bihar. The party's electoral battleground includes constituencies such as West Champaran, East Champaran, Aurangabad, Madhubani, and others.

Meanwhile, opposition parties, led by Tejashwi Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), are pulling out all stops to ensure their strength remains intact. Amid speculation of potential poaching, RJD MLAs' belongings were relocated to Tejashwi Yadav's residence in Patna.

Kumar will tender his resignation on Sunday, sources also suggest that a JD(U)-BJP alliance will take oath on Sunday at 4 pm.
