Patna: Amid the sweeping lead by the NDA in the Bihar 2025 Assembly polls, the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) has emerged as a standout performer inside the alliance, reinforcing its central role in the state’s political arithmetic.
As of the latest tallies, JDU is leading in more constituencies than expected, even outpacing its own ally, the BJP, in early rounds.
Data from the ECI shows that JDU leads with around 80+ seats (with some figures showing ~84), while the BJP is slightly behind at around 90 seats in early trends but the JDU remains robust in its tally.
