India revokes clearance of Turkish cargo firm Celebi; had monopoly since 2008

Indian government on Thursday revoked the security clearance of Turkish cargo firm Celebi Delhi, which handled ground operations for over 250 international airlines across major Indian airports. The company, a joint venture between Celebi Turkey and DIAL, had a security deposit of Rs 250 crore till 2034. Celebi’s CEO Kamlesh Peri is reportedly on leave and unreachable amid fears of raids or investigations.
