Punjab Govt Releases ₹71 Crore for Flood Relief and Rehabilitation
The Punjab government allocated ₹71 crore for flood relief and rehabilitation. Half was released initially, and the other half is now allocated to 12 severely impacted districts, with Amritsar, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Ludhiana, Patiala, and Tarn Taran receiving the largest amounts. The government aims to support affected families and farmers.
