JP Nadda to continue as BJP president till 2024 elections

JP Nadda to continue as BJP president. Nadda to continue until June 2024.

HM Amit Shah announces decision taken at National Executive Meeting. Union Defence minister Rajnath Singh proposes Nadda’s name. Decision means BJP will fight 2024 general election with Nadda at helm of the party.

Decision is being looked at as maintaining continuity.

Born in Patna, Nadda is active in politics from Himachal. Nadda won his first assembly election in 1993 from Bilaspur. From 2008-2010, Nadda held various ministries in PK Dhumal’s government. Nadda is currently a Rajya Sabha member from Himachal.
