NEW DELHI: A case of significant government manipulation has come to light, as an unknown person reportedly forged the letterhead and signature of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and sent it to Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has swiftly initiated an investigation into the matter, deploying multiple teams to uncover the perpetrators behind this fraudulent act.

The Finance Minister’s office has unequivocally stated that the person behind this act attempted to manipulate crucial government processes. A reliable source, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told The New Indian that an FIR has been filed under the directive of Sitharaman herself.

“This forged letter poses a significant threat to the security and functionality of our government institutions. The culprits must be swiftly brought to justice. The use of Mrs. Sitharaman’s forged letterhead and signature could potentially cause substantial harm, leading to misinformation or manipulation of vital government procedures,” conveyed the Ministry to the Delhi Police.

The Finance Minister’s office reiterated that such nefarious activities not only undermine the integrity of the people involved but also pose a grave risk to the overall security and efficacy of our government institutions.

Consequently, an FIR has been lodged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the Special Cell has been tasked with conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
