The meeting, lasting approximately 40-45 minutes, was convened in response to recent statements made by the US State Department regarding the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Earlier today, Mr. Kejriwal purportedly issued what his party claimed was his second instruction from ED custody. Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj shared the instructions, which related to free medicines and path tests at government-run clinics in the national capital.

Bittu, who has served as an MP since 2009, first representing Anandpur Sahib and later Ludhiana, has been vocal about his dissatisfaction within Congress, particularly urging the leadership to discipline former Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu

He made this remark during the hearing at Rouse Avenue Court, where Kejriwal is represented by Abhishek Manu Singhvi.

The ED officials visited Kejriwal's residence to serve him a summons in the case, as he had previously skipped multiple summonses from the agency. Sources indicated that the ED was conducting searches at Kejriwal's premises in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.
