Former CM Arvind Kejriwal highlighted the crisis, quoting a media post of The New Indian on X: โDelhi is already facing water shortages in many areas.โ Authorities claim supply will resume on April 3, but frustration grows as summers intensify demand.
Mukesh Rana, a resident, said, โWe last received water on March 30. Despite complaints, no solution has been provided.โ The Delhi Jal Board helpline (1916) and local officials have failed to address the issue, leaving families struggling.
“Condition of Delhi After BJP Government came to Power – Electricity keeps going out. – Water supply has stopped,” writes AAP’s Vikas Yogi.
Mukesh Rana, the resident, said that residents of Rohini’s Sector 22 are furious as basic amenities like water and electricity remain disrupted, despite voting for change. Locals say, “We removed AAP and elected BJP, but the problems remain the sameโno one is listening to us.”
He further said that even with Bawana MLA Ravinder Inder Raj serving as a minister in the Delhi government, there has been no action to resolve the crisis. “Ministers and officials are turning a blind eye,” complained a resident.
He further said that the area has faced severe water shortages for days, with no accountability from authorities. “If this is โgood governance,โ where is the improvement?” asked another frustrated local.
