Delhi Power Minister Ashish Sood accused Atishi Marlena of spreading “false claims” about power cuts, citing data of 51,958 outages over the past decade. He presented evidence of prolonged disruptions during Atishi’s tenure and hinted at legal action under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Sood assured efforts to upgrade infrastructure and meet Delhi’s projected peak demand of 9,200 MW this summer. AAP has yet to respond.
