BCCI to Pay ₹538 Crore to Kochi Tuskers Kerala: Bombay High Court

In a major legal setback for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Bombay High Court has upheld an arbitral award directing the board to pay ₹538.84 crore to the former Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kochi Tuskers Kerala. The court dismissed BCCI’s plea challenging the award, ruling in favour of the franchise’s owners who had alleged wrongful termination in 2011.
