NEW DELHI: Punjab Water Resources Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal on Wednesday announced that flood control rooms across the state are functioning round-the-clock to provide assistance to citizens during emergencies.

He appealed to people to make use of these facilities and contact the designated numbers in case of any exigency.

The Minister informed that district-level flood control rooms have been set up and are operational 24×7. The numbers are as follows:

He further added that the Punjab government has implemented robust flood mitigation measures and comprehensive preparedness protocols to address potential challenges. He urged citizens to remain alert and immediately contact their respective district flood control rooms for assistance.
