NEW DELHI :  PVR INOX Ltd.,  has announced the launch of the second edition of its monthly cinema subscription service, Passport. The revamped service, now dubbed Passport 2.0, promises a more user-friendly experience with exciting new features and fewer restrictions.

Starting from 18th March, Passport 2.0 is set to make movie-going more accessible and affordable. For a monthly fee of just ₹349, subscribers can enjoy up to four movies from Monday to Thursday. Additionally, the option to purchase and redeem tickets for others makes it a convenient choice for families and friends.

The service also caters to those seeking a premium experience. For an extra ₹150, movie enthusiasts can upgrade to recliners or indulge in experiential formats like IMAX, P[XL], ICE, ScreenX, MX4D, or 4DX. However, this premium feature will not be available in the South Indian markets.

Passport 2.0 can be acquired through the PVR & INOX app, website, and PayTM. A three-month subscription is also available for ₹1047, which includes food vouchers worth ₹350. With only 50,000 subscriptions available, cinephiles are encouraged to act quickly, as the booking window is limited to three weeks.

Gautam Dutta, Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd, said  “The first edition of the PVR INOX Passport received much love and valuable feedback from our patrons. We’ve taken that feedback to heart and are proud to present Passport 2.0, a service that’s not only consumer-friendly but also a potential game-changer for cinema-going in India.”

Dutta also highlighted the expansion of the service to the southern states, making it a pan-India offering. The pre-registrations have already seen an overwhelming response, indicating a strong market reception.

Passport subscribers can look forward to an impressive lineup of films, including anticipated Bollywood hits like ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Pushpa 2’, as well as Hollywood blockbusters such as ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’ and ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’. This diverse selection underscores PVR INOX’s commitment to providing a wide array of content choices at affordable prices.

As Dutta puts it, “We look forward to seeing you all more frequently at the movies,” signaling a new era for Indian cinema enthusiasts.
