NEW DELHI: During his official visit to the United Arab Emirates, President Donald Trump toured the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, a landmark interfaith complex symbolizing the UAE’s commitment to religious tolerance and coexistence.

After signing the guestbook, President Trump shared his reflections, stating, “It’s just a message of unity when you look at what we’ve just seen — great unity, great faith, incredible people with a tremendous leader.”

The Abrahamic Family House, inaugurated in February 2023, houses a mosque, a church, and a synagogue within a single complex. This initiative was inspired by the Document on Human Fraternity, signed by Pope Francis and Grand Imam Ahmed El-Tayeb in 2019, aiming to foster interfaith dialogue and understanding.

The complex serves as a testament to the UAE’s dedication to promoting peaceful coexistence among diverse religious communities.

President Trump’s visit underscores the strengthening ties between the United States and the United Arab Emirates, highlighting shared values of inclusivity and mutual respect. The Abrahamic Family House stands as a beacon of hope, demonstrating the power of unity in diversity.
