NEW DELHI: Rajya Sabha MP Phangnon Konyak from Nagaland participates in the 3rd edition of the Digital Democracy Dialogue, held from 24–26 September 2025 in Panaji, Goa. She speaks on the theme “Women-led Development, Women-led Society.”
Organised by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini with support from the Entertainment Society of Goa and the Government of Goa, the event gathers policymakers, innovators, and thought leaders to discuss the role of digital tools in strengthening democracy.
Konyak highlights the transformative role of women in nation-building, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Nari Shakti as empowered decision-makers and society shapers.
She also stresses the importance of technology and digitisation in democracy. “Digital tools can amplify voices and expand participation, but they must be used responsibly to ensure inclusive and sustainable democratic growth,” Konyak says.
The dialogue focuses on leveraging leadership, innovation, and citizen engagement to build a digitally empowered and inclusive democracy.
