NEW DELHI: The Hindi trailer launch of the action-packed historic drama ‘RAZAKAR – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad’ captivated audiences and critics alike as it was launched in Mumbai.

Lead actors Makarand Deshpande, Raj Arjun, Bobby Simha, Vedika, and Annusriya Tripathi, along with esteemed Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy and Director Yata Satyanarayana, graced the event with their presence.

Set against the backdrop of post-independence India in 1947, “RAZAKAR – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad” promises to chronicle the harrowing struggles faced by the people of Hyderabad under the oppressive rule of the Nizam and his ruthless militia, the Rajakars.

The film weaves together tales of courage and resilience amid Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s strategic efforts to liberate the Deccan region from tyranny.

Expressing his enthusiasm about presenting the film, Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy emphasised its importance in commemorating a significant yet often overlooked chapter of history. Director Yata Satyanarayana echoed these sentiments, underlining the film’s dedication to honouring the valour of those who fought against injustice.

Kangana Ranaut, visibly impressed by the film’s narrative and execution, commended the cast and crew for their dedication and passion in bringing this poignant story to life on the silver screen.

“The reason we need films like this is so that we never take India’s integrity for granted. I would like you and your family to encourage this film, and if we feel a sense of India’s unity and integrity from this film, then what could be greater than that?”, remarked Kangana.

‘RAZAKAR – Silent Genocide of Hyderabad,’ produced under the banner of Samarveer Creations LLP, is slated for release on March 1, 2024, promising audiences a captivating cinematic experience.
