IIFF 2024: FDDI Innovates, Magnum Leads Tactical Footwear

The 8th edition of the India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) concludes today, August 10, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).

NEW DELHI: The 8th edition of the India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) concludes today, August 10, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), the event has been a hub of activity over the past three days, bringing together national and international businesses to showcase the latest innovations in the footwear industry.

One of the standout participants at this year’s fair has been the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), which has showcased its expertise in footwear customization and scanning.The event also spotlighted the success of FDDI alumnus Yogesh Sarang Mankar, who launched his own brand, Color Kicks. Mankar’s brand has made a mark not only for its fashionable designs but also for its social impact, as he has employed underprivileged and disabled children, as well as women with nowhere else to go. With plans to expand his brand, Mankar has been a source of inspiration at the fair

Another highlight has been the presence of the Magnum brand, a renowned company from the Netherlands known for supplying tactical boots to military and paramilitary forces, including special high-security forces, as well as the Maharashtra and Gujarat police. Gaurav Jain, Senior Sales Manager at Magnum, remarked, “Our boots are engineered for extreme conditions, providing unmatched durability and comfort. They are a preferred choice for those who serve on the frontlines, and we are proud to offer a product range that spans from ₹6,000 to ₹9,000, meeting the rigorous demands of our customers.”

With around 250 exhibitors participating, IIFF 2024 has featured a wide array of products, including footwear, synthetic materials, components, accessories, machinery, equipment, and chemicals. The fair has attracted over 15,000 business visitors from India and abroad, offering ample opportunities for trade professionals to forge new connections and finalize deals.
