New Delhi: In a move underscoring its alignment with India’s digital and economic priorities, senior Flipkart Group executives, including Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Rajneesh Kumar, met Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and New & Renewable Energy Prahlad Joshi at the new Indian Parliament building.

Discussions with the Finance Minister centred on Flipkart’s expanding role in empowering MSMEs, artisans, weavers, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), and small businesses. The company highlighted its efforts to drive digital inclusion and enhance market access for millions of local entrepreneurs both in India and globally.

The executives also briefed Sitharaman on Super.money, Flipkart’s fintech platform aimed at extending credit and essential financial services to underserved communities. The initiative, they noted, supports India’s broader goal of building a financially inclusive economy. Reaffirming the company’s India-first vision, Rajneesh Kumar said Flipkart remains committed to investing in supply chain and digital infrastructure, creating livelihood opportunities, and building skilling ecosystems for youth, sellers, and underserved populations.
During their meeting with Prahlad Joshi, the leadership discussed Flipkart’s consumer-first approach, including strict adherence to fair and transparent trade practices and a robust grievance redressal framework to protect online shoppers.
