PATNA: In a shocking turn of events, a CRPF soldier was subjected to a harrowing attack by his girlfriend, resulting in a severe injury to his private part. The distressing incident took place at a hotel on Exhibition Road, leaving the soldier in critical condition. The couple had recently gotten married in court just two days prior to the assault. The soldier, hailing from Sukma in Chhattisgarh, is currently undergoing treatment at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).

The incident occurred late at night on Wednesday. The soldier’s girlfriend, a student residing in Patna, launched a violent assault on him, wielding a knife. The motive behind the attack stemmed from their troubled relationship. The soldier, who had been in love with her for three years, had secretly entered into a marriage alliance with another woman, which led to heightened tensions between the couple.
Concerned for his safety, the 29-year old soldier hurriedly traveled from Sukma, where he was posted to Patna, seeking refuge at a hotel on June 3rd. However, his girlfriend’s intense emotions and resentment eventually caught up with them. On June 5th, she confronted him and exerted immense pressure on him to marry her without delay. Threats of dire consequences left him with no choice but to comply with her demands.

After a secretive visit to the city court, where they solemnized their marriage, the couple returned to the hotel. Unfortunately, their apparent union quickly turned into a heated argument. Overwhelmed by the impending marriage to another woman, the soldier implored his girlfriend to end their relationship. However, the girl threatened to kill him. She took out a knife from her bag and cut off his private parts in an act of revent.The hotel staff were alerted by his cries for help, and they immediately contacted the authorities.
Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating the case and the girl has been arrested, while the injured soldier fights for his life at the Patna Medical College and Hospital.
