Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide, Bibhav Kumar has been arrested by the Delhi Police on Saturday. The arrest comes two days after the Police registered an FIR based on AAP Rajya Sabha MP, Swati Maliwal’s statement in the alleged assault case.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday warned about the heatwave conditions in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh for the next three days. With temperatures expected to cross 45 degrees, the warning comes amidst the IMD’s earlier announcement that India is going to witness more days of heat wave in 2024.

A case has been filed against Bhavesh Bhinde, owner of Ego Media, for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. It comes after a billboard erected by his company fell during a storm in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar on Monday. The incident killed 14 people and injured at least 74 others.
