NOIDA, UTTAR PRADESH: A Pakistani woman, along with her four children, has come to India to marry a Noida-based man after befriending him in the online gaming playlist PUBG. The Uttar Pradesh Police and intelligence agencies have begun questioning her.

The woman, identified as Seema Ghulam Haider, a native of Karachi, met Sachin, a resident of Rabupura in Greater Noida, a few months ago on the gaming app. They would often talk and later they became friends.

As per the UP police, the woman fell in love with Sachin and decided to come to India. She reached India via Nepal and started living with Sachin in rented accommodation in Rabupura.

Additional DCP (Greater Noida) Ashok Kumar said the police station in Rabupura had received information that a Pakistani woman was roaming with four children in Rabupura.

“As soon as the above information was received, a police team was immediately formed and with the help of local intelligence, electronic surveillance and beat policing, the police station in Rabupura traced the woman,” Kumar said.

“The angles of spying cannot be ruled out. Her documents and other articles that she and her children were carrying have been checked,” Kumar added.

According to the police, Seema had come to India on May 13 and had been staying with Sachin since then. “On Monday, Sachin and Seema argued over some issue, after which she left him too,” they added.

At the same time, the local police got the information and they started searching for her. Three teams of Noida police were formed and later Seema, along with her four children, were nabbed from Noida. She was further questioned.
