Aamir Khan talks about Sensuality

In an exclusive interview with The New Indian’s Executive Editor Rohan Dua, Aamir Khan talks about people who have contributed the most in his life.

The Interview was held in Santacruz, Mumbai. The New Indian Team was invited by the Aamir Khan Production House for the conversation in reference to the movie, ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ that was released on 20th June, 2025.

Aamir’s Mother’s Influence

When asked about people who have taught him the most in their life, the bollywood actor instantly took his mother’s name, Zeenat Hussain. He creditis his mother as his biggest teacherHe went on to describe her as calm, affectionate, and endlessly supportive, especially during his formative years. Aamir recalled how, while his father Tahir Hussain, a respected filmmaker himself, was often strict and occupied with work, it was his mother who brought emotional balance to the household with her gentleness.

 

“I’ve learned the most from her”, highlighted Aamir Khan

Beyond family, Aamir also credited some of the greatest actor of Indian cinema as his teachers.
“Since I never went to film school and I’m not a trained actor or filmmaker, I learned by watching the greats who came before us,” he explained.

 

He listed iconic names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar, Waheeda Rehman, Vyjayanthimala, Nutan, and Sadhana among those who inspired and shaped his artistic sensibilities.

 

Mr. Khan began his career in 1988 with the blockbuster Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and has since become one of Indian cinema’s most influential figures. Known for his dedication to storytelling and perfectionism, he continues to explore new themes and emotional depths with each project.
