NEW DELHI: Delhi Police’s Crime Branch dismantled a major counterfeit operation manufacturing fake CPVC pipes of leading brands in Kanjhawala, arresting factory manager Prabh Deep Singh (29) and seizing thousands of fraudulent items.
During the raid in Rohini District, officers uncovered:
– 1,438 counterfeit pipes and 6,520 elbows labeled as premium brands
– Fake products mimicking **Supreme, Astral, Prince, and Ashirvad** pipes
– Electronic printing machines and custom dies used to stamp brand logos
Operational Details:
Acting on complaints from legitimate manufacturers, a specialized NR-II/Crime Branch team raided the unit. Police observed workers illegally branding plain PVC pipes with forged trademarks
overnight to evade detection. Singh, who supervised operations, was arrested at the scene.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Harsh Indora stated:
“Delhi Police maintains zero tolerance toward organized crime, including counterfeiting. This bust protects consumers and businesses from substandard products.”
Investigation Status:
Authorities are tracing the distribution network and pursuing other suspects linked to the syndicate. The raid aligns with heightened vigilance against economic offenses across the capital.
