NEW DELHI: In a powerful demonstration of military might, India launched a decisive counter-terror strike in the early hours of Wednesday, targeting multiple terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The operation, named Operation Sindoor, was a joint effort of the Indian Army and Air Force in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians.
According to an official statement released by the Indian Army at 1:44 AM IST, the operation successfully destroyed nine terror camps, including the primary training center of Lashkar-e-Taiba, one of the most notorious Pakistan-based terror outfits. This action is seen as a bold and calculated response to the continued threat posed by terrorism in the region.
