New Delhi: Fourteen students from Delhi government schools have been selected for Germany’s APAL Project 2025, a vocational education and training initiative by the Federal Employment Agency (BA). The selected students will undergo a 3 to 3.5-year dual training program in Germany, gaining technical skills and work experience.

At a felicitation ceremony held at the Delhi Secretariat, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood congratulated the students. The CM emphasized the government’s focus on quality education and global opportunities, while the Education Minister highlighted the partnership between Delhi and Germany to enhance skill-based and employment-oriented education.

The APAL (Ausbildung Programm für Auszubildende in Deutschland) Project aims to provide vocational training to students from India, Latin America, and Uzbekistan. Officials stated that this initiative aligns with broader efforts to strengthen international skill development collaborations.

The students are expected to depart for Germany soon, where they will receive training in various technical fields before potential job placements.
