Yadav was one of six individuals named in an FIR filed at Sector 49 police station in Noida on November 3, 2023. While the other five accused were previously arrested and released on bail, Yadav faced charges related to wildlife protection and criminal conspiracy.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vidya Sagar Mishra confirmed Yadav’s arrest, stating that he was allegedly involved in dealing with snake venom, in November last year. The case, initiated based on a complaint from People For Animals, accused Yadav of orchestrating activities involving live snakes and snake venom in Noida.

The sting operation conducted by People For Animals revealed Yadav’s purported involvement in arranging snake venom for parties and events. Forensic investigations corroborated the use of cobra and krait venom at a party held in Noida’s Sector 51.
