Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar made a surprising disclosure in the Maharashtra Assembly, revealing that Uddhav Thackeray, while serving as Chief Minister, had declined permission for the installation of a statue of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Borivali. Ajit Pawar stated, “During my tenure as the Deputy CM of Maharashtra, an incident came to my notice. A statue of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was presented to me from the constituency of BJP MP Gopal Shetty.”
