Seema Haider, a citizen of Pakistan, who made headlines upon arriving in India from Nepal to be with her partner Sachin Meena in a small Uttar Pradesh village, has initiated a defamation lawsuit against her neighbor. The lawsuit comes in response to derogatory remarks made by her neighbor, Mithilesh Bhati, about Sachin, who has transitioned from being Seema’s paramour to her husband.

In a conversation with The New Indian, Seema’s legal representative confirmed the intention to pursue legal action while also indicating the possibility of withdrawing the suit if Mithilesh Bhati tenders an apology for her statements.

Seema’s lawyer elaborated on the nature of the derogatory comments made by Mithilesh, describing them as disrespectful, inappropriate, and inflammatory. The derogatory language was employed repeatedly – first on television, then publicly at Mithilesh’s residence, and further on social media platforms. The derogatory description portrayed Sachin in an offensive manner, suggesting he lacked financial resources, character, and physical appearance, even comparing him to a lifeless mouse.

Advocate AP Singh, representing Seema Haider, highlighted the severity of Mithilesh’s statements, emphasizing that the derogatory terms used not only aimed to belittle Sachin but also dehumanized him. The legal action seeks to address this affront to Sachin’s dignity and reputation.
