WATCH | AIIMS doctor’s advice on how to manage H3N2 flu

India recorded its first two deaths due to the Influenza A subtype H3N2, one each from Karnataka and Haryana and more number of cases have been reported. Speaking to TNI, Dr. Naval Kishore Vikram said that the recent spread of influenza is a new variant of common flu, adding that it is less dangerous infection as compared to others. He also said that taking antibiotics can be counter-productive to the cure, and one must treat this infection symptomatically.
