SRINAGAR: Due to the efforts of Indian law enforcement and security agencies, the US has finally shut down the Pakistani sponsored terror and intimidation notice board – kashmirfight.wordpress.com.
In July 2021, the J&K Police had busted a white-collar terrorist syndicate operating Kashmir Fight blog. They had arrested five people in addition to seizing several devices used in preparing a ‘hit list’ of government officers, journalists, social activists, lawyers and influencers.
This Pakistani sponsored syndicate had designed a modus operandi wherein the victim’s name was published. She/he was then profiled, giving detailed information on how and why they could be a legitimate target for Pakistani terrorists. Subsequently they were killed by terrorists. According to a senior Police official this syndicate was working to further sustain terrorist activities in Kashmir through intellectual and digital means. It is strongly believed that Shujaat Bukhari, advocate Babar Qadri and many others became the victims of similar acts of Pakistan’s digital terrorism.
Keeping in view the swift response by United States of America it seems that the international community is also keeping a watch on their content and is trying to regularise the same in the interest of global peace and order.
