U’khand Dalit assault case: Commission for SC demands report

Taking cognizance of the matter in Mori Dalit assault case, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) demanded a report from the Uttarakhand government within three days. On Jan 9, a Dalit youth was allegedly beaten by five Upper Caste men in Mori block of Uttarkashi district.
