NEW DELHI: In a shocking twist to the recent murder of Haryana Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) State President Nafe Singh Rathee, a UK-based gangster, Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu, has claimed responsibility for the killing.

Sangwan alleged that Rathee, in collusion with rival gangster Manjeet Mahal, was involved in a land grab conspiracy, leading to the decision to order his assassination. Taking to Instagram with the handle ‘@kapilnandu4i5w’, Sangwan asserted, “I ordered the killing of Nafe Singh Rathee. The reason behind this is the friendship between him and my rival Manjeet Mahal.” He accused Rathee of supporting Mahal in criminal activities, including the murders of Sangwan’s brother-in-law and friends.

Linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Sangwan has a history of criminal activities and has been accused of extortion. He has been making extortion calls from the UK and has a red corner notice issued against him.
