NEW DELHI: The city of lakes, Udaipur, witnessed a grand royal wedding as renowned poet and former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas’s elder daughter, Agrita, tied the knot with her fiancé, Pavitra Khandelwal, on Sunday evening.
The lavish wedding took place at The Leela Palace, where several prominent personalities gathered to celebrate the occasion.
This marked the first royal wedding of the season in Udaipur, following national badminton champion PV Sindhu’s wedding at the Raffles Hotel in December 2024.
Agrita’s pre-wedding ceremonies, including haldi, mehendi, and sangeet, were held in royal style at the hotel.
On Saturday, during the pre-wedding festivities, singer Sonu Nigam’s electrifying performance set the stage for a lively celebration, with the bride and groom dancing enthusiastically.
The wedding rituals were performed by the serene Pichola Lake at The Leela Palace, with Bollywood singer Kailash Kher delivering a mesmerizing live performance.
Guests were treated to an exquisite feast prepared by world-famous chef Sanjeev Kapoor and his team, featuring a variety of Rajasthani delicacies.
Agrita Sharma, the eldest daughter of Kumar Vishwas, completed her education at Nottingham School of Art and Design and is the Director of a company named Digital Khidki.
Her husband, Pavitra Khandelwal, is a businessman, and the couple got engaged in April last year.
The grand wedding blended tradition with elegance, making it a memorable event in one of India’s most picturesque locations.
