NEW DELHI: Chandrababu Naidu and Pema Khandu are the two billionaire Chief Ministers of Indian states.
Together, they contribute ₹12.64 billion to the total declared assets of ₹16.30 billion for all Chief Ministers combined.
With total assets of ₹931.83 crores and liabilities of ₹10.32 crores, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu has emerged as the richest current CM in India.
Naidu Declared movable assets of ₹8.10 crores and immovable assets of ₹1,21.41 crores.

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, on the other hand, has the lowest declared assets of ₹15.38 lakhs with no immovable assets.
Arunachal Pradesh CM Pema Khandu, from the BJP, is the second billionaire CM with total assets of ₹332.56 crores, including movable assets of ₹165.10 crores and immovable assets of ₹167.45 crores.
Khandu also tops the list for the highest liabilities, amounting to ₹180.27 crores.
According to the affidavit provided by them to ECI before election analysed by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and National Election Watch (NEW) the average assets per Chief Minister, across state assemblies and union territories, amount to ₹52.59 crores.
When compared to India’s per capita net national income (NNI) of ₹1,85,854 for the financial year 2023-24, the average self-income of a Chief Minister stands at ₹13,64,310, which is 7.3 times higher than the national figure.
Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah of Congress is the third richest CM of Indian states. He declared assets amounting to ₹332.56 crores, divided into ₹165.10 crores in movable assets and ₹167.45 crores in immovable property.
Jammu and Kashmir CM, Omar Abdullah of JKNC is also among the CM with lowest assets.
He has total declared assets of ₹55.24 lakhs with no immovable assets.
