TMG

Summary

Following their BMPS 2025 campaign, TMG Esports has issued a strong statement accusing Team Aryan of breaching their contract by demanding a 1500% salary hike. TMG defended its track record in nurturing underdog talent and dismissed all allegations of exploitation as false and harmful to India’s grassroots esports ecosystem.

NEW DELHI: In a strongly worded statement following their split with Team Aryan post their BMPS 2025 success, TMG Esports has addressed growing speculation and accusations surrounding the separation.

TMG, known for its support of grassroots esports talent, stated that it had acquired Team Aryan six months ahead of BMPS 2025. “We believed in their potential when few others did, offering them a standard esports contract in India — something most underdog players dream of,” the organization said. TMG claimed it provided monthly salaries, fulfilled every request, and maintained full documentation of support.

However, things reportedly took a turn after Team Aryan qualified for the BMPS 2025 LAN event. According to TMG, the players demanded an exorbitant 1500% salary hike, compared to the originally negotiated 30-50% hike in their contracts. TMG alleged that despite continued support and negotiations, the team chose to walk away, breaching their contract.

RESPONDING TO THE CRITICISM

TMG also responded to public criticism it received, particularly claims that it had undermined the “spirit of Team India.” While the org initially chose silence, it said, “When silence is misread as weakness and false narratives begin to spread, it becomes necessary to respond.”

Dismissing allegations of exploitation as “completely false,” TMG emphasized that their support was “fair, transparent, and built on mutual trust.” It added that such misrepresentation “disrespects not just TMG, but the effort that goes into building opportunities for new talent.”

“For over five years, we have served as a launchpad for emerging players… misleading stories harm the very foundation that allows such journeys to exist.”

The final part of the statement took a more emotional tone, warning against turning patriotism into personal gain. “We believe in Team India, not personal agendas… Let us not discourage those who support the next generation — because who will rise next?”

The esports community now watches closely as Team Aryan forges its next chapter post-BMPS, while TMG repositions itself as a staunch advocate for upcoming talent in the Indian esports ecosystem.
