TMC supremo stayed in a luxurious hotel costs rupees three lakh per day, claims bengal Congress chief

NEW DELHI: West Bengal Congress chief and MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has claimed that chief minister Mamata Banerjee stayed in a hotel that costs Rs three lakh per night during her recent trip to Spain.

While speaking to the media in his constituency of Murshidabad, Chowdhury said, “Banerjee sometimes takes international trips to change, to feel good. In Spain, she stayed in a hotel that costs Rs three lakhs per day. It has all the arrangements so that she doesn’t feel the need for anything. Bengal is craving for jobs, for industries but CM does not care much.”

“Not only CM alone but all others who went with her came back after having fun. After coming back she is suffering from pain in her leg. I pray to God for her speedy recovery so that she soon gets the opportunity to lie once more,” Chowdhury rued.

The TMC supremo suffered a leg injury after returning from Spain, where she went for a business summit. She returned from a 10-day trip to Spain and Dubai after the Bengal Global Business Summit.

The Trinamool Congress has dismissed the allegations, arguing such claims will strengthen the BJP.

Speaking to The New Indian, TMC Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Shantanu Sen said, “By uttering such words, Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has proved once again that he is here to strengthen BJP by criticising Trinamool Congress and its Supremo.

Sen further added, “It has been proved once again that he is here to strengthen the BJP. Now it is his responsibility to prove whether in a vote to work in alignment with India airlines or is really in mood to strengthen the NDA Alliance at the national level.”

Amid the ongoing India bloc unity where all the opposition stands on the same platform to fight out BJP in 2024, at the periphery of state politics the tussle between TMC and Congress continues.
