The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has launched a new thematic index, the Nifty India Tourism Index. This index will track the performance of Nifty 500 firms that represent the travel and tourism industry.

Kronox Lab Sciences' IPO shares made a decent debut at Dalal Street on Monday, June 10. The stock opened with a 21.29% premium over its issue price of Rs 136 per share on the NSE. Similarly, on the BSE, it commenced trading at a premium of 21.32% to ₹165 on BSE.

The Bombay Stock Exchange's (BSE) 30-share Sensex commenced trading at a record peak of 75,655.46, up 245.07 points or 0.32% from the previous close. The broader National Stock Exchange's (NSE) Nifty 50 index also climbed 81.85 points or 0.36% to open at an unprecedented high of 23,038.95.
