Union minister Thakur says the former Congress president considers himself above parliament, government, judicial system and country

The first Youth20 (Y20) Inception Meeting 2023 under the G20 began in Guwahati on February 6. This is the first meeting of the 17 meetings that will be held all across the country, culminating in the Youth20 Summit in August. Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sharma will present research papers from students and academicians in Assam. In addition to this, technical sessions and deliberations will be hosted at IIT Guwahati. Prominent speakers include Gen. VK Singh, Assam DGP GP Singh, MP Tejasvi Surya etc. An ice-breaking session was held with Y20 delegates at Brahmaputra Sandbar Island.

More than 150 Youth delegates from G20 countries are set to participate

The move comes after the Union sports ministry formed an Oversight Committee

An oversight committee will have to submit its report within 4 weeks. The name of the members of this committee is likely to be announced on Saturday.
