Rajasthan Election Results: “Sabka saath, sabka prayaas” reason for BJP victory,’ says CM probable Raje

Former CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje secured her victory from Jhalrapatan with 1,38,831 votes

JAIPUR: In a reaffirmation of Rajasthan’s electoral history, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set for a sweeping victory, upholding the state’s decades long tradition of always voting out the party in power.

 

Former CM and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje secured her victory from Jhalrapatan, making a return to politics after her brief interlude, amassing 1,38,831 votes and winning by an impressive margin of 53,193 votes. Rajasthan, once again, lives up to its legacy of ousting the incumbent government.

 

 

At a press conference, Raje attributed the win to PM Narendra Modi’s mantra of inclusion, emphasising ‘Sabka saath, sabka vishwas, sabka prayaas.’ She hailed her victory as the triumph of “Modi’s guarantee, Home Minister Amit Shah’s strategy and BJP President JP Nadda’s leadership, while lauding the relentless efforts of party workers.”

Raje emphasised on the tireless toil of the party workers in making the victory bear fruit. She said, “The workers toiled day and night, devoting themselves to realising the dreams of PM Modi.”  “This victory”, she asserted, ” is a salute to their unwavering dedication. Above all, it is the victory of the people,  who unequivocally reject Congress’s misgovernance in favour of embracing BJP’s governance.”

Meanwhile, Sachin Pilot secured a decisive victory with a margin of 29,475 votes, garnering 1,05,812 votes. The BJP’s Diya Kumari clinched victory in the Vidhyadhar Nagar seat, defeating Congress candidate Sitaram Agrawal by 71,368 votes, while Ashok Gehlot emerged supreme in his home constituency of Sardarpura, however, it is the lotus that will bloom once again.

 

With the state elections over with, the stage has been set for the 2024 electoral landscape, echoing the sentiment of the people who rejected Congress’s governance and embraced BJP’s leadership.
