Among the four Indian students who competed in the final round, two were from ALLEN Kota, underscoring the institute’s growing impact in shaping international Olympiad winners.
PM Modi stated, “A few days ago, our students won medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad. Devesh Pankaj, Sandeep Kuchi, Debdatta Priyadarshi, and Ujjwal Kesari have made the country proud.” He also highlighted India’s strong performance in the International Mathematical Olympiad held in Australia, where the country bagged 3 Gold, 2 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal.
A Legacy of Excellence

He scored 96% in Class 10, 97.6% in Class 12, and was awarded the Bal Shakti Puraskar in 2020 by the Prime Minister. He is also the first Indian to represent the country at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) while in Class 8, and has twice won Gold at the IJSO. Most recently, he secured All India Rank 8 in JEE Advanced 2025 and scored a 99.9976 percentile in JEE Main, earning AIR 65. Devesh has also been selected by the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
Debdatta, currently in Class 10, has been preparing in Kota for the last three years. His family hails from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Expressing his gratitude, Debdatta said, “The environment of Kota and its competitive spirit made me stronger every day. I worked hard, but it was ALLEN that guided me on how to work hard.”
Student Reflections
Reacting to the Prime Minister’s appreciation, Devesh remarked, “Science Olympiads should be given the same recognition as the Olympic Games. The ecosystem at ALLEN Kota helped me develop a strong foundation in science.” Debdatta echoed similar sentiments, saying the academic mentorship and guidance provided at ALLEN was critical to his success.
ALLEN’s Olympiad Push
According to Nitin Kukreja, CEO of ALLEN Career Institute Private Limited, the organization has been working since 2013 to identify and nurture talent for national and international Olympiads. “Till 2024, our students have won 69 Gold, 54 Silver, and 12 Bronze medals in various global Olympiads,” he said.
ALLEN students have particularly excelled in the International Junior Science Olympiad with 38 golds, followed by 10 in Physics, 6 in Chemistry, 4 in Biology, 3 in Mathematics, 5 in Astronomy and Astrophysics, and 3 in the Junior Astronomy Olympiad.
