NEW DELHI: Bihar is heading into the 2025 Assembly Election with a total of 7.43 crore registered voters, according to the Election Commission of India.

Of these, 3.92 crore are male voters, while 3.50 crore are female voters. The state also has 1,725 transgender voters in the rolls.

The voter list highlights a strong youth presence, with nearly 1.63 crore electors between the ages of 20 and 29, and around 14.01 lakh first-time voters in the 18–19 age group. Bihar also has a significant number of elderly electors, including 4.04 lakh senior citizens above 85 years and 14,000 centenarians.

Additionally, the Commission reported that about 7.2 lakh Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) are eligible to vote in this election.
