Radhakrishnan’s nomination as the NDA’s Vice Presidential candidate has put him at the center of national attention.
The upcoming election, scheduled for September 9, 2025, will decide the successor to Jagdeep Dhankhar, who resigned earlier this year.
The ceremonial welcome in New Delhi underscored the BJP’s show of strength and unity ahead of the Vice Presidential election. Leaders praised Radhakrishnan’s long public service record and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute effectively in the role of Vice President, particularly as Chairperson of the Rajya Sabha.
