New Delhi: MP Baijayant Jay Panda, in his Parliament speech today, emphasized India’s decisive military actions under the Modi government, particularly Operation Sindoor, which marked a new milestone as India became the first country to strike 11 airbases of a nuclear-armed nation, destroying 20% of Pakistan’s air force.

Panda stated that Operation Sindoor was not merely a reaction but part of the “Modi Doctrine,” showcasing India’s shift from past policies to a “New Normal” of assertive retaliation. He criticized the opposition for failing to question Pakistan’s denial of terror camps despite evidence, while India’s claims were backed by satellite imagery.

Highlighting India’s global diplomatic support, Panda noted that 61 world leaders, including BRICS, QUAD, and FATF members, condemned the attack. He also dismissed Pakistan’s ceasefire request as a sign of weakness, asserting that India stopped hostilities only after Pakistan appealed.

Addressing opposition skepticism, he countered claims of India “surrendering” by recalling past Congress-led compromises. He praised indigenous defense successes while lamenting the opposition’s focus on China’s drone instead.

Panda reaffirmed India’s stance as a “people of peace but not prisoners of it,” warning adversaries against testing the nation’s resolve. He concluded by underscoring the international recognition of PM Modi as a reflection of India’s rising global stature.
