NEW DELHI: Shiv Sena’s (Uddhav Thackeray faction) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi has slammed Times Now TV channel for questioning the strength and viability of the opposition INDIA front.

“At least in our alliance there is no dearth of choices while there is none left to choose from in BJP and its alliance of 37,” Chaturvedi said, while attacking the TV channel.

Chaturvedi had quoted a video tweet that showed the channel with a split-screen showing Team India vs Modi.

The anchor is heard in the news bulletin, “Is the opposition facing an issue of having too many faces? After lieutenants of Rahul Gandhi, Nitish Kumar and Mamata Banerjee said that they should be the PM face, Arvind and Akhilesh’s troops have come out saying the same.”

Earlier today, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister, Aatishi, sidestepped any speculations on Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal gunning for PM’s post

According to Chaturvedi, this event was misconstrued by the channel, depicting it as an instance of too many cooks spoiling the broth.

The channel further, went on to show one of her clips, where she can be seen saying, “Our faction has a lot of faces for PM candidature and it does not reflect badly on us, it just means that we have popular leaders.”

Chaturvedi then took to X to question the channel’s brand of journalism, stating that she hopes the recovery of journalism is swift.

“Hope the recovery is swift, we do need JOURNALISM back , Judega Bharat Jeetega India will strive for it.”
