“What brings me joy is being in service to Mother Earth, being in the deepest service to honoring Mother Earth as a sacred being,” Jackson tells the audience.

Jackson recalls her personal experiences with California’s devastating wildfires, which shaped her commitment to climate advocacy. “I lost my house in the Kincaid fire in 2019 and experienced the Tubbs fire in 2017, and I am lucky to be alive,” she says.

Coming from the renowned Jackson Family Wines business, Jackson emphasizes that her focus has shifted away from the family enterprise. “I’m not currently active in the family business, but I’m putting my energy, time, resources, and mental health toward building a livable planet and a resilient community for the future,” she explains.
