New Delhi: The Indian government has launched Operation Sindoor;, a major diplomatic offensive involving 59 MPs divided into nine groups, to counter Pakistan’s terrorism narrative globally. The first delegation, Group 1, led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria to expose Pakistan’s role in cross-border terror and highlight India’s firm stance.
The delegation includes Dr. Nishikant Dubey (BJP), Phangnon Konyak (BJP), Rekha Sharma (BJP), Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM), Satnam Singh Sandhu (Nominated), Ghulam Nabi Azad, and former Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla. Their mission is to present evidence of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and rally international support against extremist networks.

“This is a unified effort—leaders across parties are standing together to defend India’s security interests,” said Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, announcing the teams. The MPs will engage with foreign governments, media, and think tanks to counter misinformation and strengthen alliances.
Operation Sindoor marks a strategic shift in India’s diplomacy, combining political outreach with intelligence-backed arguments. Subsequent groups will visit 31 more countries, including the EU headquarters, to amplify India’s message.
Analysts say the inclusion of opposition figures like Owaisi and Azad signals rare bipartisan consensus on national security. With Gulf nations being key partners, Group 1’s discussions could shape regional counter-terrorism cooperation.
