After a miserable performance against South Africa, the Indian top batting order made a wonderful comeback in the 35th match of ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Adelaide today.

After Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field, India gave an explosive start with KL Rahul scoring 50 runs in just 32 balls, including 4 sixes before getting caught out. However, Captain Rohit Sharma failed to put up a show and threw away his wicket scoring just 2 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav put the innings back on track scoring 30 runs in just 16 balls.

Virat Kohli, taking the Bangladeshi bowlers head on scored 64 runs in just 44 balls that included eight smashing fours.

Bangladeshi bowlers failed miserably to arrest the Indian top order. Shoriful Islam and Hasam Mahmud gave away lot of runs to the Indian team with economy rate at 14.25 and 11.75 respectively.

India has put up a big target of 185 runs for the Bangladesh team.
