“I partnered up with another gentleman, a high net worth individual, and created a company called TEXEGY,” Ahuja tells The New Indian.
The name itself is a nod to its origins—“Tex” for Texas and “EGY” for Egypt, reflecting the nationality of his business partner, an Egyptian billionaire.
Through this collaboration, Ahuja was able to leverage private investment to expand oil exploration and production projects. “We’ve been with them for 10 years now. Fortunately, the good Lord has been with us, and we’ve done exceedingly well,” he adds.
His ability to bring together international investors with U.S. energy opportunities underscores his business acumen and global vision.
The partnership demonstrates the strategic intersection of entrepreneurship and energy infrastructure. By uniting capital and expertise,
Ahuja and his partner have not only strengthened their business but also contributed to the larger energy ecosystem in the Gulf Coast region.
From humble beginnings in Uttar Pradesh to orchestrating international energy ventures, Rajan Ahuja’s story exemplifies the power of vision, networking, and calculated risk in building a global business footprint.
