India High On G20: Gen VK Singh to escort Biden, Chandrasekhar with Trudeau, Oz PM….

NEW DELHI: As Delhi is all decked up in festive lights for “One Earth. One Family” G20 international three-day event, starting from Friday that will culminate on Sunday, Indian government has released a list of ministers who have been tasked to escort and manage the foreign dignitaries.

The following ministers have been given the charge:

MoS Vijay Kumar Singh, from roads and shipping ministry, India’s former Army chief, will escort the United States President Joe Biden and Li Qiang, Foreign Minister of China to the venue. The former four-star general was one of two officers  in late 70s selected to attend the United States Army Ranger School at Fort Benning, Georgia in the United States.

MoS Darshana Jardosh, from textiles and railways ministry, will escort Sheikh Hasina, PM of Bangladesh.

 

MoS Ashwini Choubey, who is currently serving in Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Environment ministry, Forest and Climate Change will escort Rishi Sunak, PM of UK as well as  Japan PM Fumio Kishida.

MoS Rajeev Chandrasekhar, one of the top entrepreneur-turned minister from Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) will escort Australia PM Anthony Albanese PM and  Canada PM Justin Trudeau.

 

MoS Nityanand Rai , from home affairs, will escort Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates.

 

MoS Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, from MSME, will escort Germane Chancellor Olaf Scholz

 

MoS Raosaheb Patil Danve from Maharashtra, will escort Azali Assoumani, President of the Union of Comoros and President of the African Union, and Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa.

 

MoS Faggan Singh Kulaste will escort Argentina President Alberto Fernandez.

 

MoS Shobha Karandlaje will escort Italy PM Giorgia Meloni.

 

MoS Anupriya Patel will escort President of France Emanuel Macron.
