WATCH: India, Denmark to cooperate on water sustainability, says Environment Secy Vind

On Monday, roundtable discussions were held between Denmark & India on energy and water sectors under the theme: ‘Driving Green Transition Together’ during the on-going two-day business program in New Delhi. Speaking to The New Indian, Christian Vind, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment (Denmark) said that Denmark and India are working together to improve water management practices for sustainable development. “We’re working at all levels with Indian government to achieve 100% water sustainability,” said Vind. Denmark’s Crown Prince and Crown Princess arrived in India on Sunday on a four-day visit. They’re accompanied by a high-level business delegation of 35 Danish companies as well as the Danish Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Utilities, and the Danish Minister for Environment.
