In Pics: Farmers Start Protest Again At Jantar Mantar

Members of Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) and some other farmers unions have gathered for a ‘Mahpanchayat’ at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar to discuss to reinforce their demands.

The demonstrators want legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for agriculture produce and sacking of Union minister Ajay Mishra ‘Teni’ over his son’s involvement the 2021 Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

As farmers flock to Delhi from neighbouring states, Delhi Police have put up barricades in border areas and monitoring the movement of commuters.
